Link Building

Link Building -
Link Building is one of the biggest SEO tasks. Link Building is the process of creating inbound links to one’s own website. Link building is very important concept of off page optimization.   It plays vital role to make your site with high Page rank in different search Engines.  Link building is of 3 types –

Ø  One way link building
Ø  Two way link building
Ø  Three way link building

Ø  One way link building is the submitting your site to different directories and article directory and it also include social bookmarking, forum posting, article submission etc.

Ø  Two way link building is also called the reciprocal link building. It is also important to get high PR in search engines.  Reciprocal link building is that way of link building just suppose (A) side has a site and other side (B) also have a site and then they exchange link  (A)  site’s link should be placed on (B) site and (B) site’s Link should be placed on (A) site . This deal is completed between two persons only hence it is called two way link building. This we can do with mailing and chat also and with Digital point also.

Ø  Three way link building is the we do with chat. Three persons are involved in this two are the partners and one is Client whose orders we are doing. This is very fast and easy way and less time consuming.

Advantages of Link Building-
Ø  Link building helps in getting quality traffic from relevant sites which increases sales.
Ø  It also helps the website get indexed by search engines.
Ø  Link building helps in creating awareness, visibility and credibility of your site.

Some important factors of link building –

When you are dealing with any partner then first point to check is the required page rank (according to our client) of that site. Next step is to check whether the page is cached or not. OBL (out bound links) is the other main factor of a website a site with less OBL is a quality site instead of a site with high OBL. and we also check the IP of a website the IP should be different for each website if our client requires.
And also some sites have No follow attributes links and Google does not crawl those links and we should have to avoid those kinds of sites. We should have to take links on do follow attribute link’s site. We can check it by pressing CTRL+U and the resource page will open in front of us and then press CTRL+F and write nofollow  if it get highlighted then we should not have to follow that site.
Here is the code should look for each link
Ø  Do follow  format-
     <a href=”http://www.seosolvent.com”>anchor text </a>
Ø  No follow format-
  <a href=”http://www.seosolvent.com rel=nofollow”>anchor text</a>

Link Wheel -
A link wheel basically is a process in which you build a dozen or so new blogs/web pages using web 2.0 properties such as squidoo, blogger, hubpages and etc, all on the same topic as your main blog or website. Then, on each of these mini sites, you write one (or more) unique quality article that includes a link to your main website or blog and another link to one of the other new blogs you just built.

The difference between link wheel and traditional link building-
When building backlinks using traditional link building methods, you just link back to your site from any other site you can. But, link building with link wheel is different than traditional link building, in a sense that you don’t just build links pointing only to your site, you also build links pointing to other sites on which you have a link pointing to your site. …confused?

How Does a link wheel work-
Lets assume your have 6 web 2.0 sites that you want to use to make a link wheel for your blog (by the way web 2.0 properties are great for link wheel since they are free and pack a punch when it comes to Google liking them). You write 6 unique articles, each with one link pointing to your main site, and another link to one of the 6 web 2.0 sites your using, and post one article on each. It’s sort of like an interconnected web.
When you get to the last site, you can either link it to any one of the other 5 sites, completing a complete link which goes in a circular motion(yes, that’s why its called link “wheel”), or you can leave it open.
